How we choose

Every list starts with the companies Google shows for that exact service in Las Vegas. From there we remove listings that don't hold up:

• A Google rating below 4.4 stars
• No working phone number or website
• Lead-generation sites and look-alike listings that aren't a local company

The companies left are ranked in the order Google shows them for that service. That's why the list for furnace repair looks different from the list for AC installation.

Why we picked them

Each company gets a short write-up based on facts from its own website and Google listing, such as how long it has been in business, its license number, its hours and the services it offers. We don't invent details. If we can't confirm something, we say so.

Best Choice Verified

A company earns the Best Choice Verified badge after our team speaks with it by phone and confirms its phone number, address, hours and services. Verification is free and doesn't change a company's rank. Every verified company is re-checked each year, and businesses that aren't re-verified lose the badge.

Ratings

Ratings and review counts come from Google. Review counts are rounded down (for example, 2,594 reviews shows as 2,500+) so the numbers stay accurate between updates.

Ads

Some pages include a Sponsored section. Ads are clearly labeled and are separate from our rankings. A company can't buy a spot on a list or a higher rank.
